When heading to Pamukkale, we will pass the Korkuteli town which was famous for being the only place in Anatolian not defeated by Alexander the Great!
During your visit to Pamukkale, you will see the white travertines, the ancient city of Hierapolis, the ancient tombs, the thermal pool where the queen cleopatra often swam, and the red water pool.

There are shopping breaks by handicraft productions centres during this excursion ran.
The tour plans could be changed slightly by the overview for seasonal or various other reasons. Visitings through to some galleries or ancient ruins might not be possible due to renovation works. Due to very hot in July and also August, breaks as well as visits to open-air galleries and also old ruins might be much shorter than planned.

Day 1: Alanya – Pamukkale
You will be picked up in good time for a 7:30am departure from your Alanya hotel. Your first stop will be in the town of Korkuteli for breakfast – if you haven't arranged a breakfast box from your hotel, you can buy snacks, tea, and coffee in their cafe. There will be other stops along the 4-hour journey to Denizli, where you'll enjoy stunning views of Pamukkale's cascading travertine pools and an optional open buffet lunch (own expense). After lunch, your guide will lead you through the ruins of the ancient city of Hierapolis, explaining the amphitheater, city walls, bath houses, cemetery, and more. Then stroll the snow-white travertines, paddle in brilliant blue pools, and bask in the warm waters of the Pamukkale hot springs. You may wish to swim in Cleopatra's Pool, a warm pool full of ancient statuary and columns: please note an extra charge applies. Finally, drive to your hotel for an included dinner. Day 2: Pamukkale – Alanya
Feast on an open buffet breakfast at your hotel before checking out to continue your tour. Your first stop is the Karahayit Hot Springs, which feature a similar stepped series of travertine pools to Pamukkale, but in ocher: swimming is at your own expense. Next, visit a traditional Turkish mosque to learn more about the religious beliefs of local people. You'll stop at shops specializing in leather, onyx, and fabric – whether to buy or window shop is up to you. After lunch (own expense) in Denizli, you'll head back to Alanya with a stop in Antalya, arriving back at your hotel in the late afternoon.
